your silence is deafening
in the midst of building an anti-racist society, and advocating for the liberation of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) communities why is it that the silence of white feminism can be felt at every turn. the limitations of our movements can be felt by it. our momentum is daunted by it. to be bi-racial or mixed race with white and be at the frontlines racial justice and gender empowerment is to constantly be negotiating how to de-compartmentalize the sound of the silent feminists. white feminists can be racist too. white feminists can be anti-racist too. your silence is deafening.
