Gurls talk promotes the mental health and wellbeing of young women and gurls

Gurls Talk is a community-led non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the mental health and wellbeing of adolescent girls and young women*. Following Adwoa Aboah’s personal experience with mental health, Gurls Talk was formed with the goal of creating safe spaces – both on and offline – where gurls can access mental health resources, share their experiences and support each other so they never feel alone or have to reach a breaking point.

By partnering with academic institutions and mental health experts, Gurls Talk seeks to provide accurate and accessible psychoeducation on a wide variety of topics relevant to our community. Through our podcastlive events, and an online community, Gurls Talk works to destigmatize mental health conversations while fostering a supportive community that gives all gurls a voice.

*We welcome anyone who identifies as a gurl, including non-binary young people and those exploring their gender.
